  • (1888PressRelease) June 24, 2011 - Over 3,000 people attended the 3rd annual Cloud Computing World Forum in London this week, cementing the show's position as the largest Cloud Computing event in Europe.

Held on 21st and 22nd June at Olympia, the forum hosted some of the biggest names and organisations from the IT industry, with over 70 global companies exhibiting, around 130 keynote presentations being delivered in four different theatres, and a host of vital topics being covered by an array of expert speakers.

Well-received by delegates throughout the two days, the show's organiser, Mark Johnstone was delighted by the success of this year's event:

"The attendance levels have been great, and we've nearly doubled in size from last year, which I'm extremely pleased about.

"However, what was really superb about the show was the enthusiasm everyone had over the course of both days. The buzz around cloud computing has clearly gained momentum in the last 12 months, but from hearing the discussions held in both the packed-out theatres and around the exhibition stands, there's still a fair way to go with cloud and people are genuinely committed to working out how to get there.

"There's clearly plenty of expansion expected in the cloud computing industry in the near future, and we're now looking forward to next year's show which promises to be even bigger."

Because of the event's popularity, the 4th annual Cloud Computing World Forum will be held at Earls Court, London on the 12th and 13th June 2012.
