  • (1888PressRelease) May 10, 2012 - QlikTech, (NASDAQ: QLIK) a leader in Business Discovery - user-driven Business Intelligence (BI), today announced it ranked third on Forbes' annual list of America's 25 Fastest-Growing Tech Companies. Ranked in the top three along with frontrunners Linked In and Apple, QlikTech's sales growth of 37 percent over the past 12 months earned it this place in the "Forbes Fast Tech 25 Annual List Of Growth Kings."

QlikTech's history of growth in the new category of self-service BI it pioneered continues as companies seek alternatives to traditional enterprise software solutions that take too long to solve their big data problems. According to industry analysts, adoption of QlikTech's brand of Business Discovery continues the trend of outpacing traditional offerings from vendors like SAP, Oracle, and IBM.

To compile the list, Forbes analyzed more than 5,000 publicly traded technology companies with minimum revenue of $150 million and a minimum market value of $500 million. To be considered, companies had to show sales growth of at least 10 percent for each of the past three fiscal years and over the latest 12 months. Additionally, companies had to have three-to-five-year estimated earnings-per-share growth rates greater than 10 percent. The finalists were ranked based on their three-year average sales growth rates.
