  • New York, NY (1888PressRelease) August 30, 2011 - ProLingo provides the latest in digital technology for language translation by adding a large inventory of the latest, greatest, interpreting equipment to their hardware line. Both of these pieces of equipment are from the TAIDEN line, the HCS-4100MB, and the HCS-4385K2.

The HCS-4100MG is a fully digital conference main unit designed for the needs of today's conference systems controlling up to 64 language channels. This fully digital Conference Main Unit brings the latest in digital technologies to complex simultaneous interpretation applications. The TAIDEN HCS-4100MG features parallel redundancy and multi room configurations, the ability to adjust push to talk microphone EQ and sensitivity individually, and true plug-n-play hot swappable design.

Microphone gain can be adjusted between -15dB and +15dB and there are four pre-select EQ settings; Normal, Parliament, Press, and Theatre. The HCS-4100MG also adds a balanced (XLR) output for system audio to be connected with an existing house system and a faster more responsive Voice Activation mode. The new Voice Mode settings offer a sliding scale for the threshold and a 1 - 15 second adjustment to the automatic turn off time.

Also added to the ProLingo inventory of high quality translation equipment is the TAIDEN HCS-4385K, a fully digital Interpreter Unit which brings the latest in digital technologies to the simultaneous interpretation system. The TAIDEN HCS-4385K features a 256×64 LCD for display of text information including Language channel inputs, language channel outputs, text messages sent from an event organizer, and quick set up of the unit.

The addition of an IC-Card Reader adds extra security to the meetings as only authorized IC-Cards will unlock the Interpreter Unit from its stand-by setting. The gooseneck microphone is detachable and the built-in loudspeaker is automatically muted when the microphone is activated. The most noticeable change for the new interpreter unit is the sleek new table-top design. The HCS-4385K is both smaller and lighter with more features and better adaptability to the changing needs of multi-lingual conferences.

The HCS-4385K also brings the most revolutionary interpretation feature to the market, the play back button. The interpreters desk contains memory that can hold up to six seconds of audio for the interpreter to conveniently play back. Therefore, if an interpreter was to miss a certain phrase or sentence, the content would not be lost for translation and would allow the interpreter to catch up with current speaking pace.

The HCS-4385K is a perfect companion to TAIDEN's flagship conference solution, the HCS-4100 Series (wired conference microphones with language interpretation, electronic voting, camera follow audio, and more).

"The larger LCD is going to make all the new features that much easier to use," said Mark Stammel, President of ProLingo. "We did our research and found the new design appeals to all top interpreters worldwide and allows them to perform their job to the best of their ability." Clients will benefit from this inventory expansion. ProLingo can operate these digital infrared interpretation systems in 16+ rooms simultaneously in full relay configuration. Combined with ProLingo's traditional RF systems, this creates the most multi-faceted interpretation system nationwide. "Come to think of it, there are large IR companies, and maybe RF companies getting close to our volume, but there is no one with IR and RF systems combined anywhere near as strong as our inventory" Ken West, Project Manager of ProLingo in New York City, confirms.

The HCS-4100MG, and the HCS-4385K will be available throughout the existing ProLingo network in North America www.prolingo.com/quote/.
