  • West Palm Beach-Boca Raton, FL (1888PressRelease) August 20, 2011 - When One Thousand Ocean hosted an exclusive prescreening of a new episode of HGTV's "Selling New York," guests eagerly gathered to view it, knowing that the luxurious oceanfront condominium played a starring role. Held in a sprawling, $15-million-plus penthouse at One Thousand Ocean this August, on the same evening that the episode was scheduled to air on the HGTV network, the event enabled partygoers to preview the episode before others across the U.S. and Canada watched it.

Celebrity guest of honor Sabrina Kleier-Morgenstern, who is among stars of the highly rated "Selling New York" reality series, was a welcomed addition to the festivities, which included a cocktail and dessert reception, as well as the prescreening - replete with movie concession-type treats - shown on a giant screen.

"Other series stars, Michele Kleier and Samantha Kleier-Forbes, had planned on attending the event. But, at the last minute, they had to remain in New York to film another episode of 'Selling New York,'" explained Jamie Telchin, president of development for LXR Luxury Resorts & Hotels. Telchin managed the development of the 52-unit, seven-story, modern building that is currently 75 percent sold.

"We've learned a lot about show business," Sabrina Kleier-Morgenstern told the guests. "Most importantly, the show must always go on!"

Photographers clicked away, capturing the evening's excitement that included not only rave reviews for the episode, but also for the 8,770 square feet of interior space in the penthouse (not to mention its 4,417 square feet of outdoor terraces overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Boca Raton Inlet, Lake Boca Raton and city).

"Having entered into a strategic alliance with the Kleiers to refer elite clientele from
New York seeking premier waterfront property in Boca Raton, we've received referrals which already resulted in a closed sale at One Thousand Ocean," said Telchin. "I am confident our relationship with the Kleiers, as well as with the other New York brokers they have introduced us to, will yield more referrals to help us sell out One Thousand Ocean."

The total dollar volume of closed sales to date is just under $180 million. One contract is pending and only 12 residences of 52 remain.

One Thousand Ocean is located adjacent to the Boca Raton Resort's Boca Beach Club. Residents who already are, or who elect private membership privileges at the Resort, can access all of its world-class amenities and services for the all-encompassing lifestyle.

Additional lifestyle enhancements, found on site at One Thousand Ocean itself,
include the Ocean Club with its fitness center, spa treatment suite, hot soaking tub, and steam and sauna rooms. There is a lounge with catering kitchen; multi-purpose room with TV, video gaming console and movie library; conference room; and an outdoor terrace with gas barbecue grills. Overlooking the ocean and inlet are a swimming pool and sun deck, pool butlers, private beach cabanas, and a private walkway over a dune to the beach. The building also provides on-site management, patrol services, a 24-hour desk attendant, concierge and valet parking.

A variety of unique Residences, Penthouses and one- and two-story Beach Villas are available from approximately $3 million to $15 million. The majority have a private elevator landing, floor-to-ceiling expanses of glass; fireplaces; and a private two-car garage. Most oversized terraces include a wood ceiling; private, heated and jetted plunge pool; and an outdoor kitchen. Penthouses have ceiling heights of approximately 14', while two-story Beach Villas have double-height ceilings in the great room.
