Historically known for its bold graphic designs, Primal Wear has in the last several years focused on providing high performance, technically advanced cycling jerseys, shorts and other clothing accessories. With increased demand for its products, Primal Wear created the product manager position to strengthen development of the company's branded and custom product lines.

"The cycling industry advances at a very rapid pace, with new technologies emerging constantly," said Dave Edwards, founder and CEO of Primal Wear. "In the same way, apparel, new fabrics, new production technologies, new styles and new ideas on the way cycling apparel is viewed are constantly emerging and evolving. As our sales manager, Eric has gained valuable insight into what customers are looking for that will help him in his new role."

Before Truman joined Primal Wear in 2008, he worked in the motorsports industry, and in the highly technical scientific glass industry, in sales, marketing and product development positions.

"We've been known for some pretty wild jerseys in the past," said Truman. "But, it's imperative to Primal's growth and position in the marketplace that we deliver not only good looking designs, but also the technically advanced products that are becoming integral to our reputation."

Truman also races for Primal Racing presented by 1st Bank, a top-ranked local amateur team.

Besides its Primal Wear branded line of clothing, the company offers custom design and production services for corporations, retailers, and amateur and professional cycling teams. As an extension of its strong belief in community and cycling advocacy, Primal Wear also provides custom cycling clothing for the American Diabetes Association's annual fundraising rides, as well as the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA), Nature Conservancy, and People for Bikes.

Primal Wear currently employs 20 design, marketing, product development, sales and warehouse staff at its Denver facility.
