Pop Singer-Songwriter Jonathan Cavier Releases Duran Duran Cover "Save a Prayer"
Jonathan Cavier has released the first song in his "Cavier Covers" series - a faithful version of Duran Duran's "Save a Prayer". Media also has high praise for Cavier's recently released solo full-length 'Premier'.

Jonathan Cavier has been a fan of Duran Duran since 1982, and cites meeting the group on the California leg of their Rio tour as a "life-changing moment" which inspired him to pick up the keyboard. Because Duran Duran is one of Cavier's musical heroes, he thought it only fitting to release "Save a Prayer" as the first "Cavier Cover" - remembering Duran Duran releasing a cover of "Fame" as a tribute to their own musical hero, David Bowie.
The release of "Save a Prayer" comes just months after Jonathan's debut solo album Premier. The album has been well-received by critics, garnering rave reviews across the web. Originally from Northern California, Cavier (pronounced "cav-AIR") has been based in Phoenix, AZ for several years and up until recently was performing as Alan Clark in atmospheric pop duo EyeTalk. Over the course of ten years and five albums, this venture saw Cavier's music reach audiences as far-flung as Italy, the UK, and Australia.
