Plymouth Law Firm goes Yellow
Plymouth based law firm Hartnell Chanot & Partners 'go yellow' in support of St Luke's Hospice.
- (1888PressRelease) June 25, 2011 - Hartnell Chanot are continuing to support and carry out charitable work in an effort to give more back to the local community and support worthwhile causes. The team recently held a 'go yellow' day to raise money for St Luke's Hospice, which was a roaring success.
All members of the Plymouth team got involved and wore something yellow whether it was clothing, wristbands or hair accessories. Other activities on the day included yellow cakes, a yellow raffle and a book sale.
The team are still counting the total money raised on the day. All money raised will go towards their end of year total for St Luke's Hospice, whom the Plymouth firm have recently chosen to support over the next year. They are also lead sponsor for the St Luke's Hospice Midnight Walk on Saturday 30th July. The Exeter office will be sponsoring local charity Force, who support anyone affected by cancer.
Donna Read commented: "The work St Luke's do is unbelievably worthwhile. Caring for people whose illnesses are no longer curable, enabling them to achieve the best possible quality of life during the final stages of their life is remarkable, and this day is our way of giving our full support to what they do."
During their day of going Yellow, the team created an inviting atmosphere and received full support from local businesses and chambers of commerce, who joined them over the lunch hour to buy raffle tickets and share the yellow cakes.
Donna further commented: "Days like this are also excellent for our team morale and I am so proud of all the hard work the team has put in!" It was a real team effort that made it such a success and we looking forward raising more money for St Luke's Hospice over the next year."
