  • (1888PressRelease) March 03, 2015 - For the first time, PICOM - The French Retail Industries Cluster will exhibit at the Retail Business Technology Expo 2015 in London from March 10th to 11th to promote the New Shopping lab experience.

    Launched in 2010, this cluster set the tone of the future shopping experience supported by innovative SMEs, ICT research teams, and major distribution brands. The large scope of PICOM's R&D activity has led to the launch of thirty projects since its inception.

    The Shopping Innovation LabŪ is a unique project in Europe created by Picom in 2013, and is supported by the French Government through its Programme d'Investissements d'Avenir (Future Investments Programme). It features a collaborative lab, a fully-equipped facility and mentoring to foster innovation.

    PICOM is building an international network which is already formed of 100 companies: about 30 technological SMEs and 15 research laboratories bringing together several hundred researchers specialized in ICT.
