Another one of his recent books is titled Postcards from South Gippsland - the third book in the Postcards from… series. South Gippsland is located in South-Eastern Victoria, Australia, an area rich in tourist attractions.

About the Author
Thomas Palfy has written several travel-photo books. These works introduce the reader to numerous tourist attractions of Australia, in words and in pictures. The West of the West is a travelogue of a trip to the West Coast and the Kimberley region of Western Australia with many colour illustrations. The Hub of Australia and Beyond is a similar account of tours in South Australia and the Northern Territory. Australia Illustrated: The Eastern States completes the trilogy of descriptions and illustrations of tours to the states and territories of the fifth continent. Definitely Digital! is a concise guide to digital photography, based on the class notes of the author for the U3A photography course. Across Australia from East to West is Palfy's most comprehensive work presenting many of Australia's incomparable tourist attractions as essays and images. The author was diagnosed with lung cancer early in 2010. After an operation, several stays in hospital and months of chemoth erapy treatment Palfy's book The funny side of lung cancer was published. The work with its provocative title aims at inspiring people to take an optimistic attitude no matter what situation they have to face in life. The best photos of the author are found in two collections: Captured with the Camera and A Collection of Images. The aim of the The Postcards from… series of albums is to introduce the reader to the tourist attractions of selected regions in Australia.
