(1888PressRelease) July 13, 2012 - PEER 1 Hosting, the global online web hosting provider, has gained further ground in the UK hosting market, revealing that annualised EMEA revenues to the end of April 2012 now stand at £11.5million, securing nearly 100% growth since last year. The success sees the Southampton-based company gaining on leader Rackspace.

Key achievements in the past 12 months include:
• The acquisition of NetBenefit. PEER 1 Hosting has completed the acquisition of all outstanding shares in the capital of NetBenefit (UK) Limited ("NetBenefit"), a leading UK-based managed hosting company. The acquisition positions PEER 1 Hosting as the number two provider of SME Managed Hosting services in the UK and creates a platform to support its growth in Europe, with the takeover of operations in France under the deal.

• UK's greenest data centre. To accommodate booming demand from customers, PEER 1 Hosting invested £10m in a new state-of-the-art data centre in Portsmouth, which opened in October 2011. With a PUE of just 1.1, the data centre is the most energy efficient in the UK and offers managed hosting, dedicated hosting, co-location, and professional grade cloud services all under one roof.

• Customers. Priding itself on its commitment to outstanding customer service, PEER 1 has secured a range of ecommerce customer wins to provide hosting services for leading retailers, including Bang & Olufsen, Debenhams and Waitrose. While, in May, the company presented its first 'eCommerce Future Conference' with industry partners and customers. These strong customer relationships have seen PEER 1 achieve a Net Promoter Score of +36, 5 times the IT services average of 7.
