  • (1888PressRelease) December 06, 2011 - Palm Beach Research Center is pleased to announce and welcome Dr. Mira Baron, MD as a new addition to their investigator staff. Equipped with extensive experience as a medical director and investigator, Dr. Baron will see patients, help coordinate protocols, interact with the pharmaceutical industry and act as a medical liaison between Palm Beach Research Center and the medical monitors.

    Hailing from the Ukraine, where she completed her medical education and training at the University of Lvov, Dr. Baron came to the United States in 1977, completed an internship and residency at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Cleveland and was a visiting fellow in the Department of Allergy and Immunology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

    Prior to joining Palm Beach Research Center, Baron spent over 20 years as a practicing internist and clinical instructor for a major medical center. In 2000, Dr. Baron then joined a research organization in Ohio and acted as PI for over 400 trials in a wide range of therapeutic areas including hypertension, diabetes, osteoporosis, vaccines, insomnia, pain, lipids, migraine, women's health, and sexual dysfunction, among others. Dr. Baron is a member of the American Medical Association and a past member of the Academy of Medicine.
