  • (1888PressRelease) October 17, 2012 - The 3rd Annual Cloud World Forum Asia will take place next month, at the Eaton Smart Hotel in Hong Kong. The 2012 show will feature over 500 senior professionals from across the continent, with a number of top global solution providers exhibiting and more than 60 expert speakers providing talks in the conference theatre.

    Combining the Cloud Computing World Forum Asia and the Telecom Cloud Summit APAC, this year's event provides duel conference streams on both the 13th and 14th November, tackling the two major components of the cloud computing industry - the Enterprise and Telco markets.

    Telco-focused workshops will also take place on 12th November, giving Telco operators an opportunity to discuss the development of cloud services across Asia in an intimate atmosphere, prior to the conference.

    Divesh Gupta, who's talk "The experience of PCCW with the five layers of the cloud stack" will take place at 9.30am on Day Two of the conference, explained the importance of the Cloud World Forum Asia in helping to address the current challenges
    Telcos are having in switching to cloud service provision:

    "Some of the biggest challenges that cloud computing faces today are convergence, security and performance. Access to cloud has gone mobile, which means the cloud offering have to adapt to a variety of new end-consumer devices; applications need to be customized; and security becomes increasingly critical in a public cloud computing space."
