  • (1888PressRelease) August 02, 2016 - Some things come from 'elsewhere' - not by us, but through us. This is how the first line of the blurb for '99 Marigold Mornings' reads. True it is; art in any form is a connection between the artist and the Divine, and sometimes the author becomes a channel through which the work flows. An ideal example of this is the book '99 Marigold Mornings'. Written by Jagruti Gala, the book is a compilation of beautiful poems penned by the author over 99 consecutive days. The book is published by Notion Press and is now available to readers all over the world.

Starting from 12 December, 2012, the author continued to pen thoughts as they struck her every day, into beautiful poems that are compiled in this book.

Despite the subject being prayer, the poems do not talk about a particular faith, although they draw from the principles of non-duality and the Buddhist practice of equanimous witnessing. In the words of the author - these poems are unique because they span several themes - celebration of the simplicity of everyday life, the desperation and anguish of modern times, a yearning for profound silence and profound love. They are straight from the heart and evoke the shared reality of what it means to be both human and divine.
