Northeastern University Undergraduate Business Program Ranked #27 in U.S. by Bloomberg Businessweek

  • (1888PressRelease) March 27, 2012 - Northeastern University's College of Business Administration announced that its undergraduate business program is ranked #27 in the U.S. in Bloomberg Businessweek's Best Undergraduate Business Schools, a gain of 11 spots from last year. For the seventh consecutive year, the program was ranked #1 in internships. Academic quality was ranked 12th in the country.

    Acting Dean Harry Lane commented, "The College has been on an upward trajectory for several years now. This ranking is another indication that the investments we've made and will continue to make in new faculty, teaching, research, and resources to support students are fueling the college's growing success."

    The College also ranked highly in the student graded areas earning an "A" for Teaching Quality and an "A+" for Job Placement.

    "Our undergraduate business programs provide students with a competitive edge by embedding up to three, six-month, full-time, paid internships into the academic program. The synergy between these two components of our undergraduate programs - academics and internships -enhances our students' learning and positions them to be very competitive in the job market," remarked Coleen Pantalone, associate dean of undergraduate programs.
