North Stamford Congregational Church Launches Free Storytelling and Zumba for Kids

    North Stamford Congregational Church's storytelling program commenced this month to give children the opportunity to gather and listen to Christian and family value-based stories. The weekly "mommy and me" get-together emphasizes early childhood literacy and is geared for toddlers, children ages one to three. The storytelling event is held weekly every Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The event is free and takes place in the Guild House next to the church, 31 Cascade Road, located two miles north of the Merritt Parkway (Route 15) in North Stamford, Connecticut.

    Zumba is a dance program that incorporates high-energy fitness. Classes are specially choreographed with kid-friendly routines and all the music kids love, like hip-hop, reggae, and more. Children from ages six to twelve are welcome. The free classes take place weekly every Thursday from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. across the street from the church in the Stone House, 31 Cascade Road, in North Stamford, Connecticut.

    In addition to these events for kids, North Stamford Congregational Church recently launched free events for adults including Zumba dance classes, a book club, and Bible study.
