  • New Orleans, LA (1888PressRelease) February 07, 2014 - On Saturday, February 15th, NO/AIDS Task Force and Young Invincibles will be partnering to hold a health insurance enrollment event at the New Orleans Public Library. The event is part of a larger national day of action supporting young adult enrollment efforts.

    "We are excited to partner with NO/AIDS Task Force and other organizations across the country in this important initiative," said Amy Lin, Deputy Policy and Organizing Director for Young Invincibles. "One in four young people don't have health insurance, which is why the work NO/AIDS Task Force is doing in New Orleans to make sure young people are informed about their new coverage options is critical."

    National Youth Enrollment day is a day of action featuring dozens of national partners, state and local advocates hosting events to get young people educated about new affordable coverage options and enrolled in health insurance before the March 31st deadline to get covered.
