Newman, Esq., a Bucks County attorney specializing in Elder Law and Special Needs Planning, will present a program entitled "Planning for an Individual with Special Needs" on Tuesday, February 15th from 7:00 - 8:30 PM. The program will be offered at Warwick Township Administration Building, in the Main Meeting Room and is open to parents and/or guardians of children and individuals with special needs.

    In "Planning for an Individual with Special Needs", Mr. Newman will examine which public benefits are available for people with special needs. He will focus on why it is so important for special needs individuals to receive these benefits. The program will explore the eligibility requirements associated with various public benefit programs and provide planning techniques that can be used to maintain eligibility. The emphasis of the presentation will be on how a Special Needs Trust can ensure that a disabled child continue to have access to public benefits and still obtain supplemental income or proceeds to enjoy the highest quality of life possible.
