  • (1888PressRelease) September 28, 2015 - Fans are ready for information about the new Tomb Raider movie, especially with the video games getting so popular worldwide. Warner Bros has confirmed Angelina Jolie will not return for the Tomb Raider reboot and everyone is waiting to hear who will play the title role of Lara Croft.

Newcomer actress Deena Trudy has been making quite an impression in Hollywood. Based on her imdb biography, Trudy was a troubled child that spent time in youth correctional facilities. She said her passion for acting began at a very young age and Trudy first appeared on screen in Warner Bros 2007 Lucky You with Drew Barrymore. Since then, she has been in several films and day player television roles. Most recently, Trudy played Officer Jackson, a "take no prisoners" SWAT officer for the LAPD alongside Michael Jai White in Asylum Studio's futuristic action film Android Cop and is also in production for a web series she created called Toke N' Choke Dispensary. Trudy co-created the show along with writer/producer Shanna Clark and she directed and acts in the first four episodes which are available to watch now on YouTube.

There are several newcomers on the shortlist to be cast as Lara Croft in the exciting reboot of Tomb Raider. However, Trudy appears to have a one up for the role and is currently being considered as casting is underway. Trudy has not confirmed she is in negotiations yet but when the news is confirmed it will be given here first. Trudy is also being considered for other major movies on the 2016-17 studio slate.
