  • (1888PressRelease) January 11, 2014 - Alpine Innovations launched the new Spudz brand of electronics accessories today at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The new product line includes the patented Spudz Pro microfiber cloth for lenses and screens and the new Spudz HD Mitt, a cleaning kit for TVs and monitors that attaches behind the screen when not in use.

"We are excited about the new Spudz brand because it's both practical and unique," Darren Jones, CEO of Alpine Innovations, said. "We see our world through smudged screens and lenses, and the Spudz line helps solve that problem."

Spudz Pro is a microfiber cloth that removes stubborn smudges and fingerprints from smartphones, tablets, camera lenses, eyewear and other surfaces. After removing the smudge, the cloth stuffs neatly inside its attached neoprene shell, which includes a clip that attaches to key rings, purses and backpacks. Spudz Pro includes a four-milliliter bottle of cleaning solution that fits alongside the cloth inside the pouch for especially tough smudges.

"This is a product for anyone who uses a camera, a phone, laptop, or pretty much anything with a smudged screen," reviewer Dennissa Ramirez wrote. "I love the fact that I can attach it to my keychain and just pull it out to clean up my son's fingerprints on the tablet or my phone."

Along with the Spudz Pro, the new Spudz HD Mitt will also debut at CES. Spudz HD Mitt is a cleaning kit for TVs and monitors that stores conveniently behind the screen. Made from premium microfiber, Spudz HD Mitt is safe for all screens and includes a two-ounce bottle of Spudz Sudz cleaning solution. The kit rolls compactly together and hangs on an included, removable hook that attaches to the back of any screen or monitor.

Alpine Innovations suggests that the Spudz Pro retail for $9.99 and the Spudz HD Mitt for $16.99. Both products will be available on the Alpine Innovations website, www.alpineproducts.com, Feb. 1 and coming to major retailers soon.
