NeoMetrix Technologies, Inc, a leader in 3D scanning and reverse engineering has signed an agreement with Steinbichler to sell the Comet Series of 3D Scanning Systems.

3D scanning is fast becoming the choice for computer aided inspection. By collecting millions of points in a few seconds, scanners such as the Comet V provide superior analysis tools when compared with traditional CMM's. Software solutions from companies like Innovmetric, Rapidform and Geomagic can then use this data to compare directly to a CAD model for easily interpreted graphical reporting.
