  • Fort Lauderdale, FL (1888PressRelease) December 29, 2013 - Aryeh E. Lehrer, Senior Director of Talent Acquisition with ANPI, has been selected as an Honored Member of the National Association of Distinguished Professionals. The selection recognizes Aryeh E. Lehrer's commitment to excellence in Telecommunications.

Aryeh E. Lehrer, who holds a BA from Florida Atlantic University, first got started in telecommunications in 2007 after joining Cbeyond, tasked with building their presence in the South Florida market. Since that time, she has had talent acquisition and talent management responsibility for markets spanning from South Florida to Northern California and everywhere in between.

Now serving as senior director of talent acquisition for ANPI, Mr. Lehrer is responsible for managing talent acquisition and development strategy and processes, which includes everything from employee recruitment and on-boarding to employer branding, compensation planning, and talent development efforts. He also works cross-functionally with many other departments on initiatives like lead generation and sales enablement to candidate profiling and employee training.

"I think a lot of people in the talent acquisition industry struggle with the ability to understand the needs and, more importantly, the motivations of hiring management in other departments," Mr. Lehrer said in relation to his work. "Early on in my career, I utilized sales as the vehicle to make an impact on the organization I worked for. What I came to realize throughout the early years of my career was the quality of the people rather than their function in an organization that made them assets. This is what led my professional interests toward talent acquisition and development."

With the hopes of continuing to find innovative ways to positively impact the personnel of the organization, Mr. Lehrer also would like to define innovative strategy around personnel selection, limiting the cost of talent acquisition and allowing for these savings to be reinvested in initiatives that benefit the employees.

Mr. Lehrer is an active member of the South Florida Young People Association.
