    "This year, France is once again hitting hard and asserting itself as one of the largest national pavilions with the presence of more than 40 exhibitors operating in telecoms infrastructure and IoT, mobile applications and services, artificial intelligence, hardware and software, video content distribution, cybersecurity and healthtech," says Etienne Savin, who oversees Business France’s presence at MWC.

    French Tech: from strength to strength
    In France, the telecoms market is estimated to be worth more than €50bn, of which services make up almost €40bn, and the countries strong skills and is innovative in SoLoMo (Social-Local-Mobile) are gaining increased recognition.

    The pandemic has served to prove the strength and resilience of France’s tech - in 2020 French startups raised a record €5.4bn, marking & 7% increase on 2019. This fundraising shows no signs of slowing down: fundraising for French start-ups between January and the end of May 2021 totalled at €3.5bn.
