  • (1888PressRelease) November 26, 2013 - Cynthia Basinet has been around for some time growing up and coming from California. Her music is that of jazz, soulful jazz thanks to her parents for having it implanted in her head since before birth. She was in many fields before becoming a singer but saving the last dream was probably the best choice. Her music is about bringing voice to the jazz sound. Her voice is strong and opera like which leaves you with a chilling sensation. In her recent music video "It's Only a Paper Moon," Cynthia uses her captivating voice to draw you in. She uses her sultry voice to capture the concept of having someone believe in you.

The video starts off with the old fashioned countdown like you are waiting for an old time movie to begin. Then the music video shifts to Cynthia Basinet sitting on top of a paper moon in a sparkly silver cocktail length dress. She's done up as if she was singing in the 1920s-1930s. The music video cuts to Cynthia laying on a piano with more of a modern dress on and singing the song. It goes back and forth between these two poses of Cynthia's but there is also a silhouette of her dancing and singing. The song is very 1920s-1930s with the piano being the main thing you hear besides the singer's voice. Cynthia projects her voice in this vintage form of a music video saying it "won't be make believe if you believe in me" and belief in her and her powerful voice would be a wise choice.
