Mudpie publish the three trends that make up "Creative Vision" starting with New Renaissance - inspired by the rich culture of the Mediterranean combined with romance and vintage travel glamour. The second trend is Avant Garde inspired by the radical youth movements of the 1930s which fuels an aesthetic highly driven by statement graphics and prints in surreal photographic cut 'n' paste styles. A rise in the master craftsman forms the backbone of the third trend Modern Artisan with a revival of traditional artisan skills, prompting a clean and precise aesthetic that dominates the male graphics and prints direction for the trend.
