Mr.Amod Soratur from HFFC talks about Financial Inclusion, Financial Markets, and more
Mr. Amod Soratur, the Regional Head of HFFC (Home First Finance Credit) gave a guest lecture, as a part of Industry Interaction Forum (IIF) at St.Kabir Institute of Professional Studies on 24th August 2016, and talked about Financial Inclusion, Financial Markets, informed students about further career prospects, and finally answered their questions.
- (1888PressRelease) September 01, 2016 - On 24th August 2016, St.Kabir Institute of Professional Studies hosted a guest lecture by Mr. Amod Soratur, the Regional Head of HFFC (Home First Finance Credit), which is a firm dedicated towards providing home loans to the masses of India. The lecture was a part of Industry Interaction Forum (IIF). He provided the students with a better understanding of the term Financial Inclusion which is a relatively new concept in India. Saying that it comprises of 3 major aspects - Land Availability, Construction Challenges and Finance Options, Mr. Soratur went on to discuss these aspects extensively in his talk. He also highlighted the fact that how the major banks are not keen on providing loans to a certain class of people in India and explained the reasons behind this. He further talked about the bifurcation of financial market in India, and how owning a house has become more about prestige than anything else in today's world. Mr. Soratur also informed the students about the career prospects in this field and shared his vision with them. The students asked various questions pertaining to his talk, and thoroughly enjoyed the interaction.
