  • Chattanooga, TN-GA (1888PressRelease) March 26, 2020 - MoveStrong created an innovative solution for the City of Round Rock. Their Parks and Recreation Department began to run short of space for physical fitness. An absolute win, this solution fits modern-day green goals of repurposing unused shipping containers. The containers new prepped to create a covered outdoor fitness center the city name THE YARD.

“We created a state of the art fitness center by custom building a 40’ Nova Wall FTS. We added a special coating to the Nova, normally and indoor FTS, for outdoor use to protect against weather. The FTS was anchored to the shipping containers to provide overhead cover,” said Jared Kuka, owner and founder of MoveStrong.

Designed for public use, this Nova offers an extensive range of exercises that can be performed by users of all skill levels. An impressive 2,800sf of workout area, THE YARD features premium workout equipment including10’ and 30’ MoveStrong Nova Walls, stall bars, rope ladder, 5 FightStrong heavy bags, 2 Squat Stands, and a variety of attachments for bridge (cobra ropes, hanging globes, rings, dip attachment), and battle ropes.

“This brand-new unique addition will offer residents even more options to recreate and stay fit at an affordable price for all families,” said Rick Atkins, Director of Round Rock Parks and Recreation. “Our team is excited to offer this new recreation addition and we look forward to families enjoying THE YARD for years to come.”

In addition to the installations, we provided extensive training and supported the city for their grand opening of THE YARD. MoveStrong is always very excited to see communities make physical fitness a priority and we commend Round Rock on their willingness to offer this dynamic training facility to the community.
