  • (1888PressRelease) July 18, 2012 - According to the findings of Monster.com internal research, between January and December 2010, there was a 65% growth in traffic of job seekers from outside India, with nearly three quarters of respondents (74%) planning to return to India eventually or have already done so, indicating the rising interest of NRI's in their homeland. Leveraging its global footprint, Monster.com will target and connect with NRI jobseekers from United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Gulf and South East Asia and connect them with the opportunities that exist for them in their own country.

India is seen as a land of opportunities owing to the rapid economic explosion, MNC's recognizing India as strategic market, which in turn has resulted in global work culture, competitive salaries, world class infrastructure, improved socio-economic facilities and access to an international standard of living. This has resulted in more and more Indians abroad to explore opportunities back home. Also, with India moving away from being a talent feeder to the developed nations, to a talent powerhouse, 'Return2Home' is poised to help employers attract the 'right talent' who have the relevant global experience, domain knowledge and are also culturally aligned.

Commenting on Monster's latest initiative, Mr. Sanjay Modi, Managing Director, (India, Middle East & South East Asia) Monster.com. said, "As an aftermath to one of worst global economic recessions, economic restructuring and downsizing was witnessed across the globe. Against such a dynamic environment, the strength of emerging economies was repeatedly tested, which not only demonstrated economic resilience but also an upturn in its growth trajectory. Today India has a projected GDP of 9.1%, which presents a huge opportunity for corporate India, which is witnessing reverse 'brain drain' with many experienced and skilled global workforce looking at India with renewed interest."

"Against this background, Monster launches Return2Home as a unique platform to engage with both employers and job seekers in finding the right opportunities. Combining its superior technology, global network, customer equity and first mover advantage, with this launch, we aim to strengthen our dominant position in the Indian recruitment market," he further added.

To amplify this launch, Monster will undertake an aggressive online advertising campaign comprising of banner advertisements on its Indian, US, UK, Gulf and SEA websites.
