  • New York, NY (1888PressRelease) October 02, 2010 - Modani Furniture announces their participation and furniture contribution on this week's episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. This week's visit to Long Island, New York makes another family's dream come true and changes their lives forever. Modani is proud to give back to a loving family and be part of a show that touches the hearts of communities and betters the lives of families nationwide. Don't miss an unforgettable episode where you can see Modani's contribution this Sunday, October 3 at 8/7c on ABC.

Modani Furniture, http://www.modani.com, based out of Miami, FL with modern furniture showrooms in New York City and Los Angeles, was presented with the opportunity to participate in the Emmy Award winning televised show to aid a family in need and immediately jumped to the opportunity. They were asked to contribute eight Louis Style Dining Chairs on a tight deadline, and after determining that there were not enough in stock at the New York Showroom, went the extra mile to ship the chairs from Miami, FL. Pressed for time and thrilled with the opportunity, the Modani Chairs arrived on time and in great condition. "We are proud to help the Lutz family in any way possible. It is an honor to participate in this momentous event and we would have done anything to be part of it," says cofounder Steven Athea.

This week is a compelling story about Grace and John Lutz, who unable to have children of their own, adopted 18. After the couple passed away, their daughter Kathleen gave up her career to move back home to East Setauket, NY, in the Town of Brookhaven, to take care of her six siblings who have Down Syndrome. The Lutz family was surprised with the life changing news at Yankee Stadium when they heard Ty Pennington make the announcement on the Jumbotron, a different approach than the usual early morning wakeup call.

This Sunday you will witness thousands of contractors and volunteers embark on a mission to finish this house in five days. The Lutz family got a new and improved home and Modani was proud to have contributed to its furnishings.
