  • Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC (1888PressRelease) September 03, 2010 - Nadia Moffett, Miss North Carolina USA and Lauren Ashley Martz, Miss North Carolina Teen USA, will be on hand to greet attendees of The Capital City Club's Young Executives annual black tie gala, the Big Bad Ball. The premiere charity event, which benefits Hospice of Wake County, takes place October 2nd from 7p.m. - 1a.m. at the Capital City Club. The Big Bad Ball will mark one of the last public appearances before both women crown their successors in November.

    In addition to modeling jewelry from Fink's Jewelers, Moffett and Martz will perform various hostess and emcee duties throughout the first half of the evening.

    Nadia Moffett, Miss North Carolina USA 2010, graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a B.S. in Marketing and a minor in Information Technology. During her reign, Moffett expanded her charitable foundation, Make Me a Queen to women across the state, driving empowerment, inspiration and growth among young women.

    Lauren Ashley Martz, Miss North Carolina Teen USA 2010, is currently a student at the North Carolina School of Science and Math. During her reign, Martz brought national awareness to the ongoing needs of individuals with mental and physical disabilities.

    Presented by The Capital City Club's Young Executives, the Big Bad Ball will be held October 2nd from 7p.m. - 1a.m. at the Capital City Club. Tickets for the Big Bad Ball are $125 each. Guests will enjoy two bands: The Moonlighters Orchestra and tHE.DESIGN; five open bars; scrumptious food selections including hors d'oeuvres, pasta and carving stations, desserts and a late night breakfast.
