Minicom Digital Signage & Gnosysoft nominated for the Viscom Digital Signage Best Practice Award 2010
Minicom Digital Signage & Gnosysoft have been nominated for the final round of the 4th Digital Signage Best Practice Award 2010, in the category information signage for their project "New Digital Signage Network for the Larnaca Airport in Cyprus".
- (1888PressRelease) September 22, 2010 - The Digital Signage Best Practice Awards are one of the most valuable awards for digital signage projects in Europe. Its goal is to honor innovative and successful digital signage projects because of their efficient planning and creative implementation, in order to encourage more companies to make increased use of this form of signage and to stimulate ideas for new digital signage projects.
The underlying idea of this award is to present both the client and the contractor of a digital signage project, and to give an equal prominence to the realization and the usefulness for the observer/user of innovative digital signage networks.
The Best Practice Awards will be presented at Viscom 2010 in Frankfurt, Germany (November 4th-6th) in five categories:
- Retail Signage - Digital Signage applications in the retail sector
- Information Signage - Digital Signage applications showing information on public displays
- Guiding Signage - Digital Signage applications as guiding systems in the public domain
- Content for Digital Signage - Outstanding content for Digital Signage applications
- Interactive Signage - Innovative Digital Signage applications with interactive components
Minicom Digital Signage along with GnosySoft, have been nominated for the Information Signage category for their innovative digital signage network at the Larnaca International Airport in Cyprus. This installation comprises over 350 displays on 8 different venues, illustrating our approach in designing, managing the installation, operating and maintaining digital signage systems.
