Having been in the industry for 25 years, she has many moments to cherish and is very humble about her proud achievements. Though she admits that the auto industry has always been a little macho, Mindy Holman is happy that things are slowly changing and more and more female executives foray into the sector. "In general, there are differences between men and women. Women are often more natural collaborators and have more empathy. Those traits have become more highly valued," she evaluates. "When you go to a dealer meeting, there is never a long line at the ladies room," Mindy quips.
Mindy gives all credit to her father Joseph for her success, who in her words is "the epitome of fairness and decency." She asserts that her father is her driving force and the opportunity to work closely with him is what makes her stay in the business.
