Middle East Government Agency Orders Colourscan UVSS

- (1888PressRelease) August 18, 2010 - Thailand, March 2010 - Vision Pacific Co., Ltd the manufacturer and developer of intelligent under vehicle surveillance systems or UVSS, UVIS announced that it has received a new contract to supply the Colourscan under vehicle surveillance systems to an undisclosed government agency in the Middle East.
"We are happy that the Colourscan is chosen by the government agency as their vehicle screening solution. We believe the customers will find our uvss exceed their expectation in terms of performance" said Uraiporn, Sales Manager of Vision Pacific.
The Colourscan systems will be embed at the main entrance of the important installation. Heavy traffic is expected at the entrance so the Colourscan is the customer's choice selection as the system can scan vehicles traveling at 30km per hour. Vision Pacific will also be configuring the uvss with their other product Automatic Licence Plate Recognition ALPR to recognise Arabic vehicle licence plate number as vehicles are being scanned.
"Our ALPR engines are configured to read licence plates with Thai, Arabic and Latin characters. This is a good technology as vehicle numbers can be logged automatically using an outdoor ALPR camera. Many of our uvss sold are configured with ALPR capability" said Uraiporn.
