  • San Francisco, CA (1888PressRelease) January 14, 2011 - Michael Bradley, managing director and founding member of Murphy, Pearson, Bradley & Feeney PC, has been elected president of the San Francisco Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Bradley has served on the Chapter's Board of Directors since 2008, most recently as vice president.

    Bradley has a diverse trial practice that focuses on civil litigation, with a particular emphasis on defending professionals sued for malpractice. He successfully represented an Academy Award winning sound studio in Burbank, Calif. and its owner against a charge of arson by its insurance carrier and obtained a $14 million judgment. Bradley also serves as national trial counsel for a major product manufacturer in mass tort litigation pending throughout the country.

    Active in the legal community throughout his career, Bradley is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and a past member and vice-chair of the California State Bar Committee on Professional Liability Insurance. He previously served as president of the Board of Advisors of the San Francisco Women's Rehabilitation Foundation and as a member of the Board of the Guardsmen of San Francisco. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Marine Corps Military Academy in Harlingen, Tex. Bradley received his J.D., Order of the Coif, from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law (1976) and his B.A., summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of New Hampshire (1973).
