Miami Dolphins' Kendall Langford Announces Online Registration For His 2nd Annual Free Youth Football Camp In Miami
Registration is now open for Langford's 2nd annual free youth football camp for players entering grades 9-12 on March 24th in Miami at Dolphins' practice facility.
- (1888PressRelease) February 08, 2012 - Dolphins' defensive end standout, Kendall Langford will host a free, youth football camp on Saturday, March 24, 2012. The camp will take place at the Miami Dolphins' state of the art practice facility on the campus of Nova Southeastern University. Registration is open to the first 300 players in grades 9-12.
Kendall, along with several of his Dolphin teammates and other NFL colleagues, will provide the student athletes with a solid foundation of the game. Kendall has enlisted an elite coaching team to teach college level fundamentals while giving campers position specific instruction. The camp will also include a mentoring session focused on motivating participants to make the right choices, excel in school and reject negative influences.
Langford is known for being actively involved in the community. He regularly participates in the Dolphins' community projects and started his annual camp as a result of those efforts. Kendall's goal is to use his platform to encourage youth to aim for success in education as well as sports.
"Last year's camp exceeded my expectations and it was an amazing experience for everyone involved. This year I really want to focus on these young guys, especially at such pivotal ages, and show them that if they're willing to work hard, the possibilities for their lives are endless."
Campers can register online at http://kendalllangfordcamp2012.eventbrite.com/. Parents or guardians must sign a release form for each camper. The camp will provide lunch and drinks, but campers will need to provide their own transportation. Campers will also receive gift bags and players' autographs.
