  • (1888PressRelease) November 24, 2015 - Kuala Lumpur - TUMI collaborated with Malaysian award-winning fashion designer Melinda Looi on their ASIA DESIGNERS CAPSULE COLLECTION, a collaboration which is featuring seven cutting-edge designers and artists from different countries across the region from Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam and Taiwan. Melinda Looi, Malaysia's very own top designer was handpicked by TUMI to represent Malaysia in this collaboration.

Each designer was tasked with creating a unique print - inspired by culture and modern travel - for TUMI's black ballistic nylon tote bag. The design is featured on both sides of the bag, which also boasts chic black leather handles, a monogram patch and slick black hardware. Each bag also comes with a premium leather luggage tag bearing the creator's brand name.

Melinda Looi's TUMI tote bag print is also her Spring Summer 2016 collection print. The strong and timeless tile design reflects the heritage of her label and her passion for fashion and art.

"I felt very honoured to be part of this collaboration with Tumi. I've always loved Tumi bags, (I use them whenever I travel overseas) and now to be able to have my print on these tote bags are such a privilege", says the designer.

The collection will be available from November 2015 onwards in over 10 countries including Malaysia.
