  • Dallas, TX (1888PressRelease) January 09, 2016 - The Dallas Zoo continues to wow visitors with new exhibits and recently added a giant, dimensional steel structure that announces the ADVENTURE SAFARI in the WILDS OF AFRICA as part of the ongoing complete renovation of the popular Monorail Safari. Hanging in the treetops, the sign incorporates hand-forged steel animals layered on top of the map of Africa and huge trees. This custom painted piece welcomes people to the Wilds of Africa and wows visitors from above as they make their way out of the tunnel and walk toward the monorail safari. The $3 million overhaul of the Monorail Safari includes upgraded electrical and mechanical components, air-conditioned passenger cars, boarding station and ramp renovation in addition to new paint and graphics.
