Compiled through peer nomination and research, approximately five percent of the Northern California Bar received the distinction. McManis has been named to the Northern California Super Lawyers every year since 2004 and Faulkner was included in 2004 and from 2006 to present.

    Additionally, Partner Christine Peek and Senior Counsel Sarah Wager were named to the Northern California Super Lawyers 2012 Edition - Rising Stars. Recognizing the premier up-and-coming attorneys in the region, approximately two percent of the Northern California Bar received this distinction.

He is a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America and listed in the Best Lawyers in America. Faulkner received his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law (1978) and his B.A. from Stanford University (1973).

    Peek maintains a general civil litigation practice, focusing on constitutional law and lawsuits against government entities. She has experience litigating state and federal constitutional issues in a wide variety of contexts, including business regulation, nuisance, takings, election law, public employment, compassionate use, selective enforcement, illegal search and seizure, and excessive force cases. Peek is an active member of the Santa Clara Bar Association, currently serving on its Appellate Courts Committee. She obtained her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law (2004) and her B.A. in English from San Jose State University (2000).

    Practicing civil litigation with an emphasis on intellectual property, commercial and business-related disputes, Wager's experience extends to patent, trademark and copyright infringement, trade secret misappropriation, contract disputes, securities fraud, shareholder derivative suits, class actions and False Claims Act cases. In addition, she has also assisted pro bono clients in special education, fair housing and privacy-related matters. Wager received her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law (2000) and her B.A. from the University of California, Santa Cruz (1996).
