  • Charleston-North Charleston, SC (1888PressRelease) March 15, 2012 - Charleston Hospitality Group welcomes Nashville Alternative-Metal band Framing Hanley and Richmond, VA band the Chuck Shaffer Picture show to the North Charleston Market Street Saloon on March 29th.

Framing Hanley is a five-piece band from Nashville, Tennessee USA. Lead singer-songwriter Kenneth Nixon, guitarists Tim Huskinson and Brandon Wootten, bassist Luke McDuffee and drummer Chris Vest came together in the mid-2000s to form an Alternative-Metal band that quickly gained a large following in Nashville. In November 2006, Dark New Day frontman Brett Hestla joined the band and helped harness their energy into two songs. These two songs were enough to capture the attention of Jeff Hanson and his record label, Silent Majority Group.

The band recorded their debut album, "The Moment" with Hestla in Orlando, Florida. The disc was initially released in August 2007, trailed by the Modern Rock minor hit single "Hear Me Now." In the fall of 2008, "The Moment" was re-issued with a bonus track, the band's rendition of Lil Wayne's "Lollipop." The song peaked at #22 on Hot Modern Rock Tracks, sending the album to #24 on the Top Independent chart and to #169 on the all-genre Billboard Top 200 listing.

In December 2009, Framing Hanley recorded their sophomore album, again with Hestla at the helm. "A Promise To Burn" was released six months later; the 13-song set marked the studio debut of guitarist Ryan Belcher, who replaced Huskinson. The record went straight to #7 on the Top Independent Albums chart, also reaching the #57 position on The Billboard 200. It includes three singles "You Stupid Girl," "Back To Go Again" and "WarZone."

Framing Hanley will be joined at Market Street Saloon by The Chuck Shaffer Picture Show. Affectionately dubbed CSPS, the band features Ryan Johnson (Vocals/Guitar), David Stiefel (Bass), and Patrick Kenney (Drums) who began winning over fans up and down the East Coast with their energetic live show filled with radio-ready rock.

Having shared the stage with a growing list of national acts including Papa Roach, Seether, Saving Abel, Sick Puppies, 10 Years, Red, Crossfade, People In Planes, Civil Twilight, Smile Empty Soul, The Dangerous Summer, CKY, The Dirty Heads, Hawthorne Heights, Conditions, Parmalee and Boombox, CSPS has not only grabbed the attention of fans, but industry pros as well.

The band has enjoyed featured airplay on Richmond's 102.1, DC101, 98.5 in Harrisonburg, VA and played various premium radio events such as 102.1's legendary Chili Cook-Off.

The Chuck Shaffer Picture Show released their debut full-length album "For Your Eyes Only" in January 2009. In 2011, the band hit the studio accompanied by co-producer Brett Hestla (Dark New Day, Tantric, Framing Hanley). The band churned out 6 of their strongest tracks to date and titled the album "Protect Your Silence." The EP was released in late summer of 2011 and the band is touring this year in support of the new record.

The bands will be performing together at Market Street Saloon, located at 7690 Northwoods Boulevard in North Charleston on March 29th. Tickets may be purchased in advance at Market Street Saloon for $10 in advance or $15 day of the show. Doors open at 7 p.m.
