    Tell Hell I Ain't Comin' had an overwhelming response from audiences who attended one of its four performances at the Broadway Theatre, in April 2011. Now less than six months later, another of Samuel's gospel musical is set to open in London on 5 August 2011.

    The Jamaican born, USA based, writer, is especially pleased that her plays are now getting a chance to play on stages in London. She attributes the discovery of her writing ability to London. At eleven years old, Marcia migrated from Jamaica to London. It was at Chamberlin, her first school attended in the England, that a teacher told Marcia she had great writing abilities.

    Marcia also holds fond memories of another school, Brondesbury High School for Girls, Kilburn. Friday Morning Assembly became popular, because it was during that time, that the entire school gathered to listen to a story written by Marcia P. Samuels.
