Also, new members/businesses will get their name entered in the raffle once and will receive membership for $100 during Buy Local Month. Haley said, "The member meeting was great! We had a big turn out and sold a lot of Buy Local Cards. Everyone that attended was excited and ready for Buy Local Month and supporting the Lowcountry." She added, "I also want to thank everyone that has helped us with promoting Buy Local Month and putting the member meeting together, especially Megan Porter [Owner of Charleston Children's Boutique] for hosting it at her store. Without them, we wouldn't have been able to accomplish everything we've done thus far."

Blogs, Facebook and Twitter posts will feature ongoing events and highlight member businesses throughout the month.
