Lonza announces new head of Lonza Life Science ingredients
Lonza announces the appointment of Harry Boot as new Chief Operating Officer for Lonza’s Life Science Ingredients (LSI) sector and member of the Lonza Management Committee. He takes over the position from Stefan Borgas who headed the sector ad interim since June 2010, parallel to his CEO position. Harry Boot will assume the role on 1 March 2011.

He hasextensive experience managing large organizations and possesses strong sales, marketing and operational experience with an excellent track record. Harry holds a degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA in Finance.
Harry is married, has three children and has resided in Asia since 2005. After a short transition period in Basel, Switzerland, he will relocate back to China.
