  • New York, NY (1888PressRelease) October 01, 2011 - On Friday, September 30th, Brooklyn Fashion Weekend (BKFW) will partner with the MTV Staying Alive Foundation (SAF) to celebrate a fun evening of fashion, music, culture and community at Industry City, located at 241 37th Street in Brooklyn's Sunset Park neighborhood. BKFW will present "Coming to America", a fashion show featuring the Spring/Summer 2012 collections of visiting African born designers, including Uche Ibezue (Nigeria), DENM by Marie (South Africa) and Felix Anaman (Ghana). The evening will conclude with the Live 4 Fashion Benefit, an after party and silent auction of art, concert tickets and music mementos. For one lucky bidder the Barbados Tourism Authority will be donating a trip for two, for three nights/four days to the All Seasons Resort 'Europa' in Barbados, airfare provided by JetBlue Airways.

    The All Seasons Resort 'Europa" nestled in the heart of Sunset Crest, Barbados features 48 one bedroom suites. Each room is 750 sq ft & comprises a kitchenette, a dining and living room area, private patio, cable TV & a personal parking space. A complimentary reggae bus can drop guests to shops and beaches minutes away.
