Lithuanian Rock Group Alive Way Announces December Release Date For New Ep, "Footprints In The Snow"

  • (1888PressRelease) November 30, 2013 - The release caps a busy year for the six-piece, who have also released two digital albums in 2013-We are Falling and Summer Came Along. Prior to that, the group released Little Something in 2012.

    Founded in 2009 by Justinas Stanislovaitis, Alive Way has received radio airplay on almost every national station in Lithuania as well as on over 800 international and online stations. Characterized by a classic-meets-modern style of rock, the band draws its inspiration from such artists as Peter Gabriel, Bryan Adams, Aerosmith and Bon Jovi.

    Following their first performance at the Roko Naktys open-air festival, Alive Way has gone on to earn recognition for best voice and best guitar at the Cia ir Dabar and Grock festivals and made appearances on Eurovision's international song contests in 2011 and 2012. They're best known for their singles including "Amazed by You," "Big City," "Slipped Away," Christine," "Drowning," "Summer Came Along" and "Distance."
