Kaboom Radio Launches Live & Unsigned Showcase Series

  • Chicago, IL (1888PressRelease) September 19, 2010 - Kaboom Radio has announced the production of "Live & Unsigned" which will include a web based series that will feature live webcasts of the events that can be tuned into through KaboomRadio.com. The webcasts will also be re-aired on KaboomRadio.com as web based full episodes that will feature behind the scenes backstage and pre show footage combined with live performances from each event.

    The first weekend of "Live & Unsigned" will kick off Nov.12-13th, 2010 in Chicago and will feature upcoming Chicago and Midwest unsigned bands. Other cities that will host Live & Unsigned series for 2010-2011 include: Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York and Austin. Each city will feature live performances from locally and regionally based unsigned talent. "The idea is to discover the hottest band in each market, whether they've been around for a while or are just starting out and work with them to promote the series in each city," We want it to have a reality feel to it, something personalized besides just the live performance footage. We want the viewers to see what goes into promoting an unsigned band and event production, which can quite dramatic in itself and ideal for TV, " commented Suzette Teal, Marketing Director for Kaboom Radio.

    Kaboom Radio will use UStream.com webcasting giants to provide the webcast feed and platform for its listeners to not only tune into and view but to promote on their own social networks. "UStream is a great format to be able to
    bring our events to listeners from all over the globe in real time," commented Teal. " We also plan on editing the footage we capture into actual web-episodes that includes pre-show footage and all the behind the scenes, footage. We want the footage we put together for the webcast series we feature on the site to have more of a reality vibe to it, so it will include footage beyond just the few hours of the live performances," that will happens during the live webcast," confirmed Executive Production Assistant, Sandra Key.

    Viewers who tune into the Live & Unsigned series can expect to see live 45-50 minute live performances from each band, along with pre and post exclusive artist interviews.
