Future Food Brands wants you to prove it by entering its Joy to the Cook: The Recipe for Holiday Entertaining contest. There are two chances to win a $200 prize package through both of Future Food Brands' product lines: Salads of the Sea and Santa Barbara Bay.

    Beginning November 21 and extending through December 16, foodies and foodies-in-training are encouraged to log on to www.facebook.com/saladsofthesea or www.facebook.com/santabarbarabay, "like" us, and click the "contest" tab on the left-hand side to send in their best holiday entertaining recipe made with either Salads of the Sea or Santa Barbara Bay products. And remember, a picture is worth 1,000 words and is a great way to accompany those recipes!

    "As stand-alone products, Future Food Brands' dips and spreads are always a hit at holiday parties, but we want to see the other ways our consumers use our products to spice up their holidays," said Emily Alfano, director of marketing and new product development of Future Food Brands. "We hope that by offering these prizes as an incentive it will inspire consumers to use their culinary skills to be as creative as possible."

    The winner of each brand's contest will receive a holiday entertaining prize package worth $200 just in time to celebrate this season. Each of the two prize packages (one for each brand) include a $100 gift card to Crate & Barrel, and a $100 party package including Crate & Barrel serving ware and Santa Barbara Bay or Salads of the Sea products. This party package will include party trays, which offer consumers a scrumptious snack with a combination of two dips, spreads or the all-new Greek Yogurt flavors paired side-by-side in individual compartments, and other retail products. In addition to these prizes, the winner and winning recipes will be featured via Facebook and Twitter, and in a press release to be sent out for the holidays.
    Entrants are encouraged to include a photo with recipe submissions, but it's not required. All entries will be judged by a panel of Future Food Brand experts. The winning recipe for each of the two brands will be notified on Monday, December 19.
