José Luis Riera, Celistics Group CFO, among the top 100 CFOs
Celistics CFO, Jose Luis Riera, has been chosen as one of the top 100 CFOs, according to the magazine ``Actualidad Económica´´ and professional services firm ``KPMG Consulting´´. Celistics is one of the main logistics and distribution operators of cell phones in Latin America.
- Miami, FL (1888PressRelease) March 30, 2011 - Celistics Group Chief Financial Officer, Jose Luis Riera, has been named as one of the best one hundred CFOs in 2010. This is the third edition of the prizes awarded by the Spanish Economic and Financial magazine "Actualidad Económica".
The award recognizes the work and performance of professionals in the financial sector, and their contribution to the smooth running of their businesses. The prize has been granted on March 23, in the Hotel Ritz in Madrid, by Juan Rosell,
chairman of the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations.
For the grant of these awards, the advisory ``KPMG´´ and the magazine ``Actualidad Económica´´ have produced a study about the financial departments of about 2,000 companies and public institutions operating in Spain.
Celistics Group is one of the main logistics and distribution operators of cell phones in Latin America. The company handles national and international logistics and distribution of Telefónica in fourteen countries of the Region. Celistics shares the award with large companies in various sectors such as ``Grupo Endesa´´, ``Gas Natural Group´´, ``Siemens´´ and ``Ferrovial´´.
José Luis Riera has been awarded and included among the most eminent directors after evaluating his career and recognize his "merit in the business world."
José Luis Riera was structured finance director of HSBC in Spain and Portugal. Prior to this position he worked for Banesto in the capital markets area and previously, he was responsible for Caja Madrid in China. In the Asian country Riera was elected president of the Chamber of Commerce of Spain in China. In his professional career also highlights his designation in 2000 as Director of the Valencian Export Institute (IVEX).
Since 2010 José Luis Riera is CFO of Celistics Group. The financial strategy developed by him in this position has been recognized by this prestigious award.
