The Ming style shelves are a prime point of interest in the store, showcasing a collection of the 500-year-old "Pandanan Junk", artifacts recovered off the coast of Pandanan Island in Palawan. The fateful discovery was made one day, when a pearl farmer happened upon an assortment of jars, vases, plates dating back to the 1400's. They were painstakingly excavated as important evidence of maritime practices and China's expeditions to the Spice Islands, where Ming Dynasty emperors sent their finest men to trade porcelain and silk for South Sea pearls as far back as the 15th century.

Established in 1979,its founders Manuel Cojuangco and Jacques Branellec anchored Jewelmer's philosophy on the perfect partnership between man and nature to create the most lustrous pearls. That vision of sustainability and perfection has driven the pearling company to become the principal producer of the exquisite golden Palawan South Sea pearl - the rarest of its kind. The legacy of this Queen of Gems was officially endorsed in 1996, when Philippine President Fidel V. Ramos proclaimed the South Sea Pearl as the country's National Gem.

True to its French-Filipino beginnings, Jewelmer expertly melds French artistry and Filipino passion into inspired creations. Guests perused the displays encasing Jewelmer's superb South Sea pearls, expertly crafted into fine jewellery. The pearls are set against gold, diamonds, and other colored stones to enhancethe glow of each orb. Among the perfectly matched strand necklaces was the Giverny collection, which showcases he lustrous golden pearls dripping of delicate 18-Karat gold branches and glistening diamond leaves.
