  • (1888PressRelease) February 01, 2011 - Neptune, NJ - The Jersey Shore University Medical Center Foundation will host its 21st Annual Open Heart Invitational on Tuesday, October 12, at Metedeconk National Golf Club in Jackson, with a shot gun start of 11:00 a.m. Last year's outing raised $45,000 with over 140 golfers participating.

    The Open Heart Invitational has been raising significant funds for cardiac surgery programs at Jersey Shore University Medical Center since 1989 through the support of local businesses and communities. This year's event chairperson, Terry McCarty, senior vice president of TD Bank, and his committee invite everyone to become partners in supporting cardiac services at Jersey Shore University Medical Center at this memorable event.

    Golfers are invited for a great day of golf at one of the area's most exceptional golf courses, Metedeconk National Golf Club, followed by a cocktail reception and awards ceremony. Golfers and sponsors are encouraged to register early, as space is limited.
