Join us in welcoming gospel recording Artist Alex Johnson also known as "Alex God's Child" as he ministers with a special performance. Born and Raised in Berkeley, CA, Alex Gold's Child begin his musical journey at the age of 15 and has continued to expand his ministry in song as he has performed in over 100 churches and venues.

At the young age of 15 he began pursuing a hip-hop career as a M.C. He went on to release record albums in the secular arena for a season of time. He opened through musical performances for artists such as Rob Base, Digital Underground, Three Times Crazy, and Run DMC. The various artist listed are by no means the totality of his performance associates even until now.

Alex after choosing a lifestyle of partying and drug addiction Alex decided to cease his musical career in 2001. However, after a true surrendering to the voice and the power of God, he checked into a drug treatment facility in 2005. While in treatment God told him to write a gospel album and after some soul searching he did. The first CD, "Light to my Life" was released Feb.1, 2010. The second Double CD, "I was…I am…" was released Sept.10, 2011. Between the two of them thousands of copies have been sold!

God heard Alex's plea and rewarded his spiritual diligence and he has been experiencing a life of sobriety and a special allegiance to God even until now!

He has ministered in song in over 100 different churches, and God is opening greater venues for his ministry presently. His musical style and ability has been known to bring audiences to tears as the anointing of God comes through with great intensity, causing his sound to be spiritually distinct and life changing in content.
