  • (1888PressRelease) August 11, 2011 - UST GlobalŪ (UST), a leading provider of IT services and solutions for Global 1000 enterprises, today announced that Lawrence I Lerner, industry veteran and board member at PNI Digital Media, has come on board at UST as Chief Architect of Business Solutions. A passionate proponent of "Revolutionary Innovation" through Constructive Disruption in today's New Normal environment, Lerner joins UST's subject matter experts across industry domains to drive the development of market-making business solutions.

Previously, Lerner was running his own management consulting firm, LLBC. His accomplishments with that company include serving as the CIO for a next-generation online social media company; achieving a 50% claims cost reduction for a major American HMO through business process re-engineering; and growing company value of an early stage drug sampling firm by 100% as COO.

For the past twenty years, Lerner has been creating, growing and leading cutting-edge Strategy and Services business units for major organizations. Earlier, at UST, Lerner was Global Head of Consulting, BI/DW, Quality and Testing, Interactive Media. In that position, Lerner was responsible for the day-to-day practice management and growth of these four essential services lines within the company.

On rejoining the UST team, Lerner said, "I'm very pleased to return to UST, a company that is at the forefront of serving customers seeking growth and/or change. In this age we call the New Normal, the ability to manage constant change is a major key to success. I have a passion for corporate entrepreneurship and believe that in all companies, no matter the size, there is always room for growth, always room for transformation. With its unique client partnership model and global reach, it's terrific to be back at UST."

Welcoming Lerner, Joe Nalkara, President, UST Global, said, "As a thought leader known for creating and breaking paradigms that have attained growth for his clients' companies, Lawrence will focus on growing our consulting services and developing new solutions that will complement our "fewer CLIENTS, more ATTENTION" business model perfectly. These new solutions will include Gamification and ACO (Accountable Care Organization) services in Health, as well as others vertical markets. Most exciting is the development of predictive analytics capabilities in Retail, Healthcare and Financial Services, which is essential to the success of executives in those fields."
